Our trip to Imaging USA
We survived our first trade show booth experience at Imaging USA
this week in Nashville. What a fabulous time! With 2 of our team
members working from home out of state, it was the first time all 6 of
us were together in one place! It was so awesome to bond as a team.
There's nothing like hard work and elbow grease (putting up our booth,
smashing everything into the car possible, etc) to bring a team
together. And thanks to Cyndi, our Joy of Marketing Manager, we were
all where we needed to be on time, our booth was up, the car was
expertly packed, and we had plenty of candy to sustain us!
Our booth was so popular we even had former presidents of the US
stopping by to meet Betsy (our graphic designer), Cyndi (our Joy
manager) and Andria (our photographer and retoucher at Sarah Petty
Photography).
We
gave a few short programs in our booth on promotions and
branding. We talked to you about why it's so important to invest in
your brand and gave you places to key an eye out for brand failure in
your own business. We shared why we feel packaging is so important,
too.So rate us! What did you love? What did you hate? We'd love your feedback!
What
we heard most from those of you who stopped by our booth (even these
famous guys below) is that you are HUNGRY for more education. We're
doing our best, not only through Cafe Joy, but through special
webinars, FREE events like the Telesummit and Websummit and our new coaching
community, to give you what you need to be successful in business. And
by the way, if you hadn't noticed, we took away the $199 membership fee
to join Cafe Joy. So now you can get in (thorugh this month) for $35 a
month.
Several of you told us you're tired of hearing about social
media. We're curious...is it because you already feel like you know
everything there is to know about it? Because you've tried it and it
isn't working for you? Or does it seem like everyone in the industry is
saying the same thing about it? We'll admit, we're still learning, too,
but we firmly believe that anyone who doesn't get on the social media
bandwagon will be left behind.
A few folks stopped by and had qusetions about how in the world to run a successful business, be a good parent, loving spouse,
supportive friend, etc. That balancing act isn't easy, so you'll be
seeing more blog posts and educational offerings in the upcoming months
on this, too. Here's your chance. Let us know what you want more of before it's too late!

Hey Sarah, Erin and all... It was great meeting you at Imaging USA! I am looking forward to all that will be coming out of Cafe Joy this year.
With regards to social media marketing, my target market is moms with young children and while they are on facebook, they do not use it the way high school seniors do. So I get the whole high school senior aspect of social media marketing, but I think the piece we haven't heard about is how to make viral marketing work with moms.
Look forward to hearing your thoughts on that one...and everyone else's in the coaching community too.
