What does a typical mailing include?

Every Café Joy mailing will include new recipes for your recipe tin. The recipes are designed to provide you with ideas and inspiration on a variety of aspects of running a successful studio. From team-building to decorating, the recipe cards are a wonderful addition to cooking up your success! They help remind you of all the little things that are so easy to overlook from day to day.

Monthly mailings will vary. Whether it is a brand new promotional piece we are introducing to our own clients at Sarah Petty Photography or the plans for a seasonal promotion you can implement immediately, each mailing is designed to provide you with fresh ideas to generate more business all year.

What are Joycasts?

Joycasts are online seminars, or webinars, which will educate and inspire you. Topics may include pricing, graphic design, sales, consultations, bookkeeping, packaging, excelling in a home-based studio, event hosting and many other topics related to marketing.

With Joycasts, you have access to our Celebrity Chefs — some of the industry's stars. While some Joycasts are included with your membership, others will require a pay-per-view fee. This way, we can bring you national speakers without forcing you to leave your families.

What are Cafe´Joy competitions?

Café Joy hosts regular competitions to inspire you to rejuvenate your products, décor, packaging and more. Everybody wins simply by participating! However, The Joy of Marketing team will judge all entries and a winner will be chosen. Prizes will vary, but may include exclusive products, consulting opportunities and more.

Is Café Joy right for me?

• Café Joy is right for you whether you work out of your home, work only on location or have a retail location.

Café Joy is not for everyone. If you have built your business on high-volume, low customer contact or discounting, you may not agree with the principles we teach. If you are looking for a fast-food, "get rich quick" approach to business, Café Joy is not the place for you.

If you are looking for a gourmet chef and a wholesome menu, however, we think you'll feel right at home!

What Café Joy is NOT.

Café Joy is not a magic pill.

Café Joy is not a forum or bulletin board. Rather than diluting the methods we teach with conflicting advice, confusion and the "too much information" epidemic of the information age, Café Joy is clear, focused and specific to the needs of boutique photography studios. The tools you acquire through Café Joy will come from one of the industry's leaders, Sarah Petty.

Café Joy will not provide you with one-on-one access to Sarah Petty or her employees. In order to "practice what we preach," we must have some boundaries. We want to run a successful studio so we can continue to teach you how to run yours! However, limited opportunities to chat directly with Sarah Petty will be available occassionally. Cafe Joy members also receive special consulting prices with Sarah.

How much does it cost to join Café Joy?

How much will it cost you if you don't join Café Joy?
Many Café Joy members have already increased their average sales, boosted their client base and heightened the value of their brand. Join now and see how Café Joy can help you take your business to the next level.

To join Café Joy, an investment of $199 is required which includes your recipe box, a box of samples and other goodies. A monthly fee of $35 automaticall bills to your credit card on the 10th of every month. No matter when you join, you will receive that month's mailing. In other words, if you join on October 31st, you will be billed for and receive the October mailing with your new member kit. Past mailings are available to purchase at $35 each as supplies last.

What if I live outside the United States?
If you live in Canada, you will be billed $40 per month and outside the US and Canada, $45 per month.
